About me
DataMan is a mild-mannered chap who one day found himself
in charge of a massive Data Administration program,
and had to figure out what to do next.

will describe what he has learned so far...

What I'm interested in:
- Data Administration (no duh!)
The idea is KNOWING where the data is, being able to FIND the data,
being able to USE the data.
Understanding that data IS a technology resource;
it is the reason for the technology.
This page will make an effort to help you understand the basic principles,
recognize the important questions,
and begin to make your own decisions about how it all works.
Data Administration is being in control of your information -
not allowing your information to control you.
